Galardi Bowen Give Back Initiative 2023 Partner The Pin Ministry: A Three-Month Update

Galardi Bowen Plastic Surgery is deeply committed to giving back to the communities where we live and work through the Galardi Bowen Give Back Initiative. In January, we announced our partnership with the PiN Ministry to help support the mission of providing resources and assistance to those experiencing homelessness in the Virginia Beach area. With your help, we’re doing it!

We are elated to share that since January 1st, we have collected and donated 223 bras to our friends at the PiN Ministry. That’s approximately 2.5 bras per day!

We want to thank you all for your contributions. We are truly honored to be able to play a small part in the fantastic work that the PiN Ministry is doing in the Virginia Beach area.

Did you know that bras are one of the most requested items for women in need?

With this in mind, we have high hopes of reaching 100 undergarments per month. We are encouraging our patients to join this community-wide effort by donating new or gently used bras to us at:

Community support by GBR includes; The Breast Cancer Foundation, The United Way, Wags and Wishes, D-Feet Cancer: The Dalton Fox Foundation, and area schools BM Williams Primary, Kingston Elementary, and Moyock Elementary.
